I was planning on posting about the crazy old folks who cursed me for standing at a cross walk with my dog. However, I have something better.
This evening I had the dog (Otie) out when he suddenly became very interested in something under one of the bushes (whatever it’s called). He was wagging his cute doggie tail and acting like he’d just met his new best friend. Well, I know that there is a family of bunnies in our yard, so I thought it might be a baby bunny. When I go to investigate I find a cute little toad.
Of course, I thought “I’m getting a picture and putting this on my blog!” and high-tailed it inside for the camera. Otie was following like he was about to get a great doggy treat. Um, no, dear, you can look but no tasting!
I put the toadmeister back under the bush. Bye, little guy!
Now, of course, Otie is whining to go back outside to see his new best friend. He’s probably mad that he didn’t get a bite of the nasty little bugger when he had the chance. That’ll teach him to listen when I tell him no.
Yes, my garage is still purple. My house, though, is finally green. [↩]
Pretend you don’t see my nail polish. Lil’lady helped me do them. [↩]
