I’m not really in the mood to post today. I’ve got a whole lotta stuff I should be doing instead. Anyway, I need to warn you that I’m going to attempt to upgrade my blog. Old timers know what that means- Jinxi’s going to break something. Always happens. That also means I’ll be getting a new theme. Another one of my “traditions”. When I have to upgrade I have to change themes- so I can break some more stuff. Oh the fun! Can’t you feel the excitement in the air? I’m not doing it tonight, though (see above about stuff to do), so don’t hold your breath.
So, as far as themes, I was thinking about those magazine style ones. Then I realized this joint isn’t really the kind of site that needs (or could use) one of those. So I won’t. I have decided to bring my furry friends into the new digs. They’re too damned cute to leave out. And skunky’s going to get center stage. Stinky little bastard has become my mascot afterall.
Oh, and my workgroup has started the official “website project”. First thing the bastard’s did was insist that we use FrontPage to code it. FrontPage. For coding. And it’s supposed to be valid. Holy fucking shitballs, this is going to make my head explode. This guy kept telling me he’s done sites before and he knows what he’s doing and he wants to use FrontPage. Can you tell I don’t think very highly of that idea? I said that if he wants to do that then find, but I’m not going to support that shit. If it doesn’t validate (which it won’t) then he’ll have to figure it out himself. The other dude has no idea how to code in xhtml, so he’s going along with whatever the other dude is saying because, you know, I’m a girl. Dumbass little fuckers should be thanking someone that I wasn’t in the same room with them. Anyway, I’m going to code another version of our site and then put it up. But I’m not going to let them use it. I’m just going to show them that not only am I better at the graphics that Dickweasle is, but I’m a better coder than he is. And then they can both just shut up and worship me like they should have been doing all along. Ya know?
Oh, and apparently we’re only doing the basic coding in FrontPage and the information will be listed in Word. Word for an html document. Word and FrontPage. OMG, I really do think my head is exploding.
