Most of you probably haven’t noticed that I’ve changed my default theme. The creater of vSlider2, Rui, was nice enough to email me and let me know he released a new version. It’s the bomb-diggity, of course. The biggest difference, I can tell, is that I can change the width of the layout and all the colors very easily (instead of going into the css I can do it from my dashboard, which is nice- though I probably won’t mess for while). Also, I think Joe is able to see the changing headers better now. Of course, I added quite a few more to this theme, but that is not the point. Anyway, you can go into the theme switcher and switch between vSlider 2 & 3 to see any differences on your end.
Rui has a very interesting project going on right now. He and his wife are trying to gather enough money to see the whole world. You can go here to see what’s up. For about $1.30 you can buy a spot on his world map. The more money you donate the bigger the spot on the map, of course. It’s a very unique and interesting concept. If enough people link to the map it could very well be some excellent publicity. Unfortunately I’ve not got a dime to spare, so I’m sending folks that direction. I wish them luck on their journey.
